That might sound pretentious, given that it's a quiz in a nutshell.
But there are over 200 games with screenshots, most with 15 different screenshots each.
Some screenshots are picked to be easily recognisable. Others are picked with a challenge in mind.
Usually, we take hundreds of screenshots and pick the 15 best ones. It's important to note that these are all real gameplay screenshots. No cutscenes, no photo mode, no modded games, no DLCs, no post-processing.
And there are over 600 games in the roster that can appear as answer options.
So there are 3,000+ screenshots from 200+ games, and each screenshot is paired with seven similar games that can appear as answer options.
In other words, you have to play for a very long time before seeing the same screenshot with the same answer options again.
And the catalogue grows every week. There are also round tips, level tips, leaderboards, and more.
We're also planning to add online multiplayer in the near future, so you'll be able to compete with friends or other players.
There are no sports, fighting, or racing games. At least, not yet. Because games in those genres can be hard to tell apart. But there are series like Call of Duty, Far Cry, Doom, and more.
There aren't many online games in the catalogue yet, but Fortnite and ARC Raiders are among them.
How the game works
Look. Think. Pick.
Study the screenshot and choose the right game from four answers before time runs out. Every image comes from standard gameplay, so the clues come from the game itself.
A little help when you need it.
Use in-game coins for 50:50 to remove two wrong answers, Plus One to see another screenshot, or Skip to move to the next round.
Prepare for the next level.
Spend in-game coins between levels to get Extra life or Extra time. Extra life gives you another chance after a wrong answer or running out of time. Extra time gives you more time to answer every round. Both apply to the next level only.
Ten rounds. Then your reward.
Complete a level to collect coins. Faster correct guesses and higher levels earn more. A wrong answer or running out of time ends your run unless you have an extra life.
Make it your game.
Choose an avatar and nickname, track your statistics, and share your profile with friends. Compare your answers and response times with global gameplay statistics, and compete for a place on the leaderboards. Play as a guest, or sign in to save your progress.
